The refurbished bar is situated on the mezzanine level overlooking the departure lounge and with views over the airfield, and takes its name from the coordinates of the airport’s easterly runway. Bristol International’s Sense of Place initiative encourages the use of local suppliers to help showcase the best of the South West to international visitors.

Nagesh Shikram, bar manager at Bristol International Airport, said:
“Being able to enjoy a pint of Butcombe while relaxing before a flight is another point of difference for Bristol International compared to larger airports outside the region.”

Guy Newell, Managing Director of Butcombe Brewery, said: “Having our beer and cider stocked at the airport is a great opportunity to win new converts, as well as meaning loyal customers can enjoy their favourite pint every time they fly.”
Bristol International Airport’s Bar Zero9 has received accreditation from the Cask Marque Trust on Tuesday 7th October. The award of Cask Marque status follows visits from an independent assessor to check all cask ales for temperature, appearance, aroma and taste.
